Float on Lake Travis in Austin, TX!

Have you guys been on a boat yet this summer? Being on the water is my absolute happy place so today I want to share with you my recent experience with Float on Boat Rentals!

In June my husband and I decided to do a weekend getaway trip to Austin. One of the attractions I planned for during our getaway trip was to have a boat ride on Lake Travis.

Our experience was so fun that we decided to rent again for Adan’s birthday. We invited our family and friends and headed back to Lake Travis!! Float on Boat Rentals has never disappointed us. They helped us create a memorable experiences that will last a lifetime!

They provided us with everything we could possibly need for a day on the lake including the boat obviously, a fantastic captain named Doug, Bluetooth radio, under-seat storage, lily pads, towels, yeti cooler with ice (yeti cooler with ice and towels were an added option). We just BYOB/water with snacks and had fun!

We chose to drive around a bit before anchoring down to swim, which granted us views of the stunning million-dollar lake houses. I wish I lived in one of these homes ;) We changed our anchor location twice and did a bit of swimming while having fun on the aquatic lily pad.

Captain Doug went above and beyond to make sure we had fun while staying safe!

I definitely recommend Float on Boat Rentals. Fitting up to 12 people, you can float right along the lake and experience every angle of the beautiful scene. Thanks to them we had such an incredible Sunday, we will definitely be booking again next time we want a fun day on Lake Travis!
